FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Texas Sports Hall of Fame Announces its 2019 Hall of Fame InducteesDistinguished group of athletes will be honored on March 30, 2019 WACO, TX – The Texas Sports Hall of Fame is proud to announce the induction of seven new members into its 2019 Hall of Fame class. Presented by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, the inductees include former tennis star Maureen Connolly Brinker (deceased) former Texas A&M and NFL kicker Tony Franklin, former Houston Texans Wide Receiver Andre Johnson, former professional basketball star Nancy Lieberman, former University of Arkansas Outland Trophy winner Loyd Phillips, former University of Texas and MLB pitcher Greg Swindell and former Dallas Cowboy All Pro Tight End Jason Witten. The induction class of 2019 will join a long list of Texas sport legends forever being honored as a member of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. The 2019 class will be honored on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the Waco Convention Center. A reception will be held at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame before the banquet at 4 p.m. Combination Reception/Banquet tickets are $200 each or $1,400 for a reserved table of eight.
