By: Tyler Dukes With a record-setting 105,121 fans eagerly looking on and stars visible from below and above, the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants made history once again at the beautiful new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. The Texas Sports Hall of Fame would graciously like to thank the Dallas Cowboys and media relations director Rich Dalrymple for donating the first program, media credential, ticket, and football from the record-setting inaugural game at the new Texas Stadium. In reaction to the donation, Texas Sports Hall of Fame executive director Steve Fallon said, “The Dallas Cowboys have been one of our museum’s biggest supporters and financial donors over the years. Tom Landry was the Celebrity Host of our annual fundraising golf tournament every year until his death and then Bob Lilly took over and has been our celebrity host ever since. Jerry Jones has been very generous with his annual sponsorship support of our induction banquets and media relations director Rich Dalrymple has been of invaluable service in helping us with fundraising, locating former inductees, [and many other events.]” The first program, media credential, ticket, and football from the record-setting inaugural game will be on display in the Jerry Jones exhibit, located behind the Tom Landry Theater. The Texas Sports Hall of Fame would not be what is today without the support of generous and invaluable organizations like the Dallas Cowboys.
