WACO April 13, 2011— After a breakout season in 2010, Houston Texans’ running back, Arian Foster, and the man who led the way for him, fullback Vonta Leach, find their items in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
During the final game of the 2010 season against the Jacksonville Jaguars Foster gained 180 yards to solidify him as the season’s rushing leader. Foster was given the game ball by head coach Gary Kubiak after the game. This ball is will be on display in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
Leach helped pave the way for Foster to gain his 1,616 yards and was awarded a trip to the 2011 Pro Bowl, a first for him and a Houston Texans’ fullback. Leach’s cleats from the 2011 Pro Bowl will be on display in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
The Texas Sports Hall of Fame is the official archive for the Houston Texans. The game ball and cleats are now on exhibit in the Texans' case.
