Hall was known in the 1950’s as the Sugar Land Express. Ken holds 12 National and State records. Hall rushed for 11,232 yards. He ranks both No. 1 and 2 in yards rushing for a single season. He had 4,045 yards in 1953 and 3,458 yards in 1952. In Ken’s four year career, he scored 899 points or 227 yards more than the player who ranks No. 2 nationally. In total offense he accounted for 14,558 yards. He had 21 consecutive 100 yard games and averaged 337.1 yards rushing per game one season. He scored 395 points another season. He averaged 428.8 yards per game in total offense yet another year. These are all national records that still stand today. In one game in 1953, Ken carried the ball only 11 times for 520 yards; 47.3 yards per rush. He finished second in Rookie of the Year voting in the Canadian Football League. Ken averaged 31.2 yards in kick off returns for the Houston Oilers, one of which was for 104 yards (club record).
